There is a Reason why it's closed... a relative of mine is a cal trans employee. I wouldn't recommend driving around a locked gate

Ok those of you with your exhaust rerouted... Does the reroute still tuck under your transfer case skid or does it come around behind it? No shops around here have done it before. Bringing in the skid to make sure it fits!

You could take the easy way up to Hector Heights and not worry about pinstripes. McCray rd. It would still be fun

Possibly. My friend who took me there is a cop, and has a cabin on Caples Lake. He's been up there since he was a wee lad. He didn't say anything regards the gate. We'd have gone in there but ran out of time. He says it's open all summer, but closed in the winter.

Ive been talking with my buddy who works at Synergy Suspensions (Poly Performance) and i told him about Heim steering kits for tacomas/fj/4runner is very limited and i really want a set. But im not paying $800+ for them like the one kit out there costs.

So hes going to get a test set for me and try it out on my 4runner. Who would be interested in a kit when all said and done if the price is right? Gauging interest for him.

Personally i think it would be huge with a legit heim steering upgrade at an affordable cost.

I've decided to focus on my rear end sag. Considered Air Lifts. Then add a leaf. Or even buy a leaf kit. But after talking with a 4 Wheel expert he says screw all that stuff, just go get a new leaf pack built for your truck. He recommended two shops near me. U.S. Spring in Emeryville, and A1 Spring in Oakland. Anyone have any experience with either of these two?

HNG that's amazing looking. This would be a bolt on application to replace oem.

Definitely take the skid I didn't and the guy was an ass. He didn't understand what I wanted after 3o mins talking to him and his boss even under the truck with him explaining and pointing he did it wrong. His boss made him redo it, and it still hits a little and I had two modify the skid . but it should cross right behind it and stay as high as possible.

A1 made a few sets of springs for the old Flat fender. The first set was nice height but too soft for the old v8. The second set were stiffer and the height was correct. Now, the V8 is gone and we are putting in a 22RE and we will have to change up the lead packs again. We will be calling A1 again.

So ever since I got my new suspension installed it has been making a lot of noise anytime I go over a speed numb. Is this something I can fix?
