Drop the truck off for frame?

 

3 months for a frame swap..... That's absolutely stupid!

 

I have a MIL ID so no worries. Just need to put the location in my GPS so I know where the heck to go.

 

Found some in Richmond.

Friend of mine at work dropped his truck off at Priority, will be at least 6 months. He was told it would take longer to get the new wire harness than the frame. Do they always replace the harness?

 

My 2003 4Runner has a cracked dash recall, stopped by Toyota Saturday and they said they haven't seen replacement dashes for 4Runners yet, Camry's and Avalons are out. They recommended checking in every two weeks. It's. 2003!!!!!!!

 

My friend was told they would replace all the metal lines that were attached to the frame. He bought the truck in Feb, it's a 2006, so the frame had to be bad when he bought it. He took it in for an oil change and the service advisor told him he could have possible frame damage. They wouldn't let him drive it home. He took it in stride, I would have gone nuts. They had to know it was bad. I told him to check the frame before he bought it, but he didn't do it. Oh well. Now he's driving a Camry.

 

The hobby shop is toward the far back left side of the base when you are driving in. The base is relatively small so it shouldnt be too hard to find. I'll probably get started around 1030. Feel free to hit me up when you head over. 757-613-6264

If anyone else was interested in working on their truck, they have two frame lifts and one drive on lift but they charge something like $4 or $5/hr to use them.

 

I'll give you a call once I get done with my stuff. I have a feeling you might be just about done when I do. I think it will take me until about 13:30 or so.

 

I'll probably take a break halfway through and I plan on taking my time so who knows, it might take awhile

It was nice to meet you to and I really appreciated your help. Turns out the hobby shop was closed sunday so I still need to do the rear. Hopefully I'll be able to find time when I get off work this week.
