I took my wheels off to derp them. Super easy. I just washed them with simple green, rinsed off, dried, taped off the air stem, removed the middle cap and then sprayed. I did it in 110 degree heat so by the time I finished spraying the second wheel the first was already dry. I did about 10 coats.

Although you can't really tell, I installed some Spydertrax spacers today.

1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.

Nope tires like them then when I trimmed I had to trip past the mounT points so I took them out. Only have the part that covers the intake so the tires can't throw stuff directly at the intake part

If you designed/built this, then i am thoroughly impressed bub. that is wicked, and the fact that its designed to look OEM mold line is slick work.

    Built yes. Designed no.

As he said, US Off-road designed the product. He just made his own based on theirs.

Theirs is done with a press break to bend most of the metal. I built mine out of cardboard off of the design and then had to fully weld all the corners and smooth them out.

Thanks, it's fun to me doing this kind.of work but they got a pretty good design and not much I could do to change it up.

So how do you flip this thing 180? Turn it around or mark it and rotate it 180? Also do you have a lot of play in the bearing? I did my maintenancd the other day and torqued all my drive line bolts and noticed that I can move my drive shaft in the carrier about 1/2 inch in sll directions.

unbolt and spin it. its just two bolts. i believe you have enough room to spin it without disconnecting the driveshaft

and a little play in the CB is normal

Did a simple preventative maintenance to probably one of the neglected/overlooked part of a vehicle.

Quick wipe down and little bit detail. First time using 303 Aerospace Protectant on the black trims. We'll see if this thing is as advertised haha.
