    Mom put her 1989 4runner in a lot because she got a newer civic. I've been contemplating picking it up. She calls me at least one a week saying someone new has offered her money for it. She hasn't sold it yet and doesn't want to.

    She took it to Discount Tire and they are saying it needs a new upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, sway bar links, and idler arm. I haven't seen the thing for a couple years but I'm positive at least half the shit they are saying is fine.

    I keep trying to remind her this is the same shop that fixed a brake issue on my brothers car and a day or so later his brakes failed and he got t-boned at an intersection. I told that fucker to see the shit out of them but he's an idiot.
