Nah I just don't recommend jumping with billies. haha

 

haha nah, that was just some fast paced driving through some whoops. I didnt think any tires came off the ground until after i saw the pictures.

I really like them, for one the adjustability is great in ride height and two they are revalvable and rebuildable!

 

This pic makes it look like your truck is just ghost jumping lol. What are you running to make a jump like that and did you do any damage there?

 

I had 5100's on all 4 corners. I was running OME 886 coils and Light Racing UCA's. I had the 4 leaf TSB leaf pack and a 1.5" AAL. It was fun, but the landings were harsh compared to LT.

To make it jump like that, you just needed the right take off (and landing) and sufficient speed. I was usually doing 40-50 mph in that area to catch that air.

In the St Anthony dunes I rarely hit jumps over 30 mph and I have pretty smooth landings 90% of the time. But I have much better suspension now

Well i just bought a 4runner. Also a milling machine, 48" metal lathe, 220v mig, 220v spot welder, and 30 ton press.

Well last night in Casper, headed back to MT tomorow. Wish I coulda met up with some of you guys while down here. Got word of a full time offer coming for here in Casper so maybe one day.

Hell yeah It does! I hope to get out and do a longer trip before the summer is completely over.
So guys I went with the AP apex front bumper, the guy at AP made me a pretty good deal and I couldn't resist (and a one week lead time).
1) Does anyone else have experience with this bumper? I almost went with Pelfrey, how much am I going to regret this decision?

2) I'm gonna sand it up and paint it myself, anyone have preferences in products to use for a paint job that will last a little while?

 

That's only true for their first gen bumpers.

 

Yeah I have heard this too. I would imagine that some fabrication could be done on other skids to match the mounting points? Or maybe I can just negotiate a good deal on one of theirs. I would hate to pay to ship one of those since it should be relatively easy to make.
