Mine is orange too, but it's useless. I do t see why they put it exactly behind the steering wheel. I'm glad my aftermarket CD player has a clock

It's actually clean and runs good. He maintains it and washes and hardly drives it. Literally he washes it even when he doesn't drive it....

Ha I like my green one

Because they have some of the best off-roading. Most of the guys in the south have big redneck pick-em up trucks and go mudding

From their website: TAVT is calculated at a rate of 6.75% of the vehicle’s value, not the sales price, as defined by the Department of Revenue’s motor vehicle ad valorem assessment manual.

they estimate it at ~$25k so $1600 sounds correct I guess :annoyed:

Isn't that the truth. Every time I see a set of wheels they are in So Cal. So when is the next meet up going to be? I enjoyed Durham town a few years back.

Unfortunately that sounds about right. This new registration stuff has only been in place since 2012. My dad just got a truck and it was about $1500 that to get it registered.

I bought from dealer in South Carolina. Paid $1,560 IIRC for my '13 "tax" and plates.

When I bought mine, it actually came out less when you really do the calculations. I'm pretty sure they include sales tax in there, like they lump it all in one. I could be wrong. But I just remember after doing the math, it came out as better
