Already trimmed the plastic and did a cab chop and beat the pinch weld lol. Wide wheels have a problem not reaching.out and touching something

You will be fine with stock Coils. But if you adjust the 5100s to give a little extra lift the Coils will be preloaded more which will give you a little rougher ride. Alternatively you could get either OME 884s or 885s depending on how much lift you'd want

Make sure they are the real ones with the MT logo. There was some knock offs on Amazon a while back.

 

Yea unless they are from Maxtrac with the Maxtrac logo, they are maxtrac knock offs and quality is unsure.

 

Good call lol. Wish we dealt with them bastards so we could get deals.

 

So far! I think my hands and knees have recovered about 85%. We are pleased with the results! It took about 18 hours to install. We do not use air tools, its all ratchets and torque wrenches. It takes a little longer that way, but we like to take our time and concentrate on what we do. Its the attention to the small things that effects the overall outcome in the end.

Couple of glitches:
1. Fox--------------Please provide better instructions! Do not ship your coilovers with a 2" preload! Do not ship your products with bearing installed that doesn't work with the specified vehicle. If the coilover has to be removed from the vehicle to adjust height please inform the customer of this ahead of time so they can plan for it. You cost me a pretty decent chunk of money for not being specific! You will be hearing from me.

2. Maxtrac------Great product! Provide better clarity in the instructions, more specifically the pictures. The brake bracket should be identified more clearly as needing to be cut for clearance prior to install. I would make a notation and explode the picture for easier understanding. Failure to cut the bracket will cause customer complaint and satisfaction issues (Noise in front).

Everything else came together beautifully and extremely pleased with the results. No spacer needed for the driveshaft. It is out about 3/8 from the collar. I didn't need to install Carrier bearing shim, yet.
