Makes sure to get metal core OBDII compliant high flow cats. High flow ceramic core cats will cause a CEL and even though they are working, you'll still need an O2 sim.

    Good grief.

Now you sir have created a problem. I'm hard after a shop to v-band the cats to the headers. Haven't found them yet. Seems like a little braided stainless flex pipe would make fit up even better on the downstream side.

Jotech is one of the many performance shops in your area. Turbo lined stainless steel flex couplings FTW!

After looking at what's in the fit kit. It's not even worth the 500-580 most places are asking for it. You could make your own fit kit easy and cheaper

Maybe. From some pics there is more than you can tell from the parts list. Like a belt tensioner bracket. How are your mechanical drawing and welding skills?

Is that the normal replacement part price? Or is that inflated due to the current situation?

For 400 you could have a custom one to yoyr specs made.

    I installed mine myself.

I can say there is barely 500 bucks worth of stuff in that kit.. After buying a LTR everything else could be made pretty easy.

the kit is not a bad value at 500 bucks. But much more its excessive.

Your fit kit pic is WAYYYY diff than mine. See previous post. Mine is 10/20/07 in the PDF, what date does your's show? My install was on a 2014. No idea what the real paper showed, it's buried in a box in my garage.

The fit kits for tacoma are all the same. I believe there was a period where there was a difference between 2005-2011 and 2012-2015 but if not identical they are stupid close

I got mine from trd sparks. Didn't use it.

I printed a manual for a 2012 I had before that (my kit was for a 2012) my truck is 2015.. no issues at all.
