you defintely should be haha! There's a link in my sig to my part out. Stuff will really be coming off next Tuesday, I just took some misc stuff off today.

Kinda stuck between getting a 2013 Scion FR-S and a 2004 v6 4x4 dbl cab 1st gen... If I get a first gen id probably have to get something with 150k + miles, the FR-S only has 20k miles..

Luckily I have a few weeks to decide because I can just use my company truck for a while.

I know! Haha I'm still stuck in wanting a truck, it's nice having a bed and I love messing around with these trucks. But the FR-S seems like it would just be a fun DD.

Honestly I'd rather have the Tacoma but my parents don't want me to get another one for a while...

    3&4 won't even hold 30 psi.

Its your vehicle, you decide what you want. I would get the taco over an frs. I bought my taco with 212k on the odo. Running strong!

Aside from my brake booster lol

I mean I wouldn't mind doing that and I plan on at least trying to collect on the warranty from autozone (11 month old reman engine..) it just seems like even if I fixed the engine it's just going to happen again and again, the truck itself has been through a lot and I'm just at the point of calling it quits.

Yea I feel it, the things that attract me to it are: cheap for a newish model, low miles, decent MPGs, and decent :burnrubber:..

Haha, Nice bro! I keep reading about people with super high mile tacomas and it's making me lean toward the dbl cab (has 167k) and I could probably snag it for 12-13k. Yea but brake booster isn't crazy stuff like an engine or a transmission haha.. Basically it all depends on the previous owners maintanence.

If a repair is done right, it should last a long time;)

And yeah there is a reason the frs is cheap.... and the :burnrubber:is not very impressive. Have u drivin one?

Yea I feel that, the only thing I can think is the parts that got reused contributed to the misfire if not caused it.. It was literally the same exact misfire as the original engine. I was changing the oil before it was time and there was a lot of new stuff put on there.. (Radiator, alternator, battery, plug wires, AFE filter, thermostat etc..)

I'm just kind of done being frustrated and just want to start over..

No haven't test driven one yet. Haha maybe I'll just go with the high mile taco then!
