We're trying to get 15 people to commit to buying one, so the OP will do a run of them.

It would be nice to see the offer spelled out. I am assuming that there is only one option, no hood prop and no magnetic tray. I am unclear if it is bare metal, painted or powder coated? But I do not like to assume.

I did just thought I'd ask shipping is very high so I was just looking to cut down on that cost and adding a name to your group buy. Thank you anyway.

I read this entire thread and still not one person has shown any kind of data that this product will work as stated in providing more cooling. OP Matt said he would, but no information has shown that covering the top will help make the engine run better. Second Ford has made active grille shutters so on normal days...they actually block the air going into the engine while driving on freeway where the air flow is greater. If the engine gets hot it'll open wide open. https://media.ford.com/content/ford...ew-ford-f-150-redefines-full-size-trucks.html

I think there's plenty of cooling already far as the opening is involved... if more cooling is required...then really need a bigger radiator or water pump or new thermostat.

I still see a use for this product, but I see a flaw with the design....with our without the magnetic tray... you leave a nut or socket on top and then you accidently knock the item on top of the panel and watch it go down behind the headlights. I think that part should be covered. It's more of an aesthetic cover piece that is nice and certainly still would like one, but need to have that parts that are open covered. Otherwise now you have to spend all that time removing panels to get the item out.

I don't want it for cooling I want it as a work tray and a cleaner look

So no one cares there's a gap that things can fall down still? I'm all for cleaner look...just don't see why can't the panel extend out to cover the gap.

Probably because he didn't think about that at the time, and in order to go back and change the design and add more material, he will probably charge another $100 on top of the current price. I get what you are saying though
