Sorry I've been away for a while I have been spending some time doing a few things for a less fortunate family. I made some pallet wood furnature and an ice chest air conditioner for a family with 3 little girls.

The ice chest AC works awesome and the family couldn't be happier.

All they need to do is keep a rotation of ice or frozen jugs of water in the freezer. Well worth the effort for the few hot summer months. Just plug it in and turn on the fan. I tested it in my shop with no AC and it kicks ass!

 

Anyway just dropped off a big batch of non diamond plate DC DSPs at the powder coater and should be picking them up Friday.

 

My AC went out in my house and I didn't have AC for 5 days. I bought a window AC unit to get me by, wish I'd of seen this first! Awesome idea.

 

Pretty neat idea. I've never seen someone do that. That may be useful on camping trips as well assuming there is electricity where you go. Maybe not so useful for the off the grip camping, but campground camping it may work.

 

You can use the bed outlet in the truck to power it.

 

I thought about that but wasn't sure if it was powerful enough. I just took another look at it and looks to be one of those simple desk top fans. May have to look into that for tent camping.......or...........maybe a group buy on them????????? Door sill protector and camping AC man.

Anyway plenty of diamond plate and non diamond plate for the early AC and all 2nd gen DCs available!

 

I've gotten tons of compliments on the door sills. A guy with a tundra was inquiring if you made them. Told him I would ask.

 

Lol! I've been making them for the 2nd gen Tundra since 2007 and still do!

I'm still up in the air with the design of the newer AC DSPs. I'm currently looking for an AC owner that is creative and good with thier hands so I can send a set of blanks to be shaped and returned to me. If I can use the design in return they will receive a free set.
