Is there anything out there that can replace the chrome part above the grille? I know painting it is an option but im afraid painting it will chip and eventually not look so great. Just wondering if theres a replacement part thats anything but chrome!

Wut? Are you asking if there is something to replace the chrome grille surround? If so a color matched surround is the answer. Or a plain surround that you paint yourself. If not I have no clue what you are asking. Good on ya for understanding that painting over chrome just doesn't work...if that's what ya were saying.

Go buy one at your local dealer for less than $200. Sell your chrome on Craigslist for about $125 or so. You can also order from Camelback toyota but your local dealer may match or beat their price. My local sold me mine for $169 and I sold my chrome take off for $125 two days later.
