    Checked out your build, sick job so far!

    You're going to want a ~5" shackle length like an XJ shackle (vs 3.5" stock length) to take advantage of the extra travel you get from the shock relocate/12" smoothies. Ideally need to cycle the new setup and custom order the proper shackle length, otherwise pointless to do the shock relocation with stock length shackles.

    @ckeene9 correct me if I'm wrong

    I'm assuming they are 5" based off bad memory, you may want to look into it farther to make sure of the length, let me know what you find out!

    So the icon replacement Uniball for their UCA's are proprietary to them and it's around ~$160 for a service kit that includes snap rings. Ugh.

    The link above is for a chrome plated version that will work but not last, FK only makes Icon the stainless steel version.

    Hmmm, TC looks better and better.

    So update, I'm gonna try and do the shackle flip this weekend. September 21st is hi clearance rear from pelfreybilt. October is new wheels and tires, may need to move my appt. for new gears and rear locker to November.

    So I got the Dakars out, cleaned them up, took out the d29 add a leaf and overload, got one side of the OE shackle hangar removed and it started hailing golf ball sized hail :eek: my day is done for now.

    Oh also got some 2.5 degree shims from headstrong off-road because that's what I need to take care of my take off vibes with my new setup and I needed them asap, ordered Monday, got here yesterday just in time for this project so I want to thank them for their quick turnaround and will be doing business with again!
