I just installed my Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller........it was "plug and play" with a custom Toyota harness. As I was pulling out of my driveway to go around back to hook up my trailer I noticed my truck barely had any brakes.......like they were manual and not power brakes.I have to mash my foot to the ground to stop with no trailer hooked up.HELP!

No change after unhooking the prodigy.Could the computer somehow have changed my brake sensitivity after plugging in the controller?

No - there shouldn't be any connection between them.

When you unhooked it, what exactly did you unhook? Back to stock?

You didn't notice this problem prior to hooking up the prodigy?

If your problems still exist, unhook everything (prodigy) and take the truck to the dealer and let them figure it out. Don't mention anything about the prodigy unless they ask you.
