    I have a dog
    7 gallon container with water for the dog (and for humans when camping)
    RinseKit to wash the dog after the beach
    Plastic container with stuff for the dog (towels, water bowl, a bottle, chuck it and a ton of squeaky balls)
    And a 48 Gallon Rubbermaid Sports Packer in the back (gas can, jumper cables, sleeping bag, axe, and other small things)

    Do the home made wooden platforms you guys build weigh down the truck a lot? I've been hesitant about building up my bed & shell due to the fact of the weight of the wood alone. I know there are other options out there (metal) but that is a little more expensive and not as easy to build. I am only concerned because I have a 2001 4cyl. have you guys noticed lack of power after install?
