I just replaced my 5100s set at 1.75" with the factory springs with the OME 884s with the Billies set at zero. Both setups seem to measure about 21". I am wondering if I am measuring correctly, because it should measure around 22" I would think.

I have a Warn Zeon Platinum 10s with synthetic rope and the US Offroad hidden mount.

I am measuring from the lower edge of the factory fender flare to the center of the wheel cap. What am I doing wrong?

What kind of truck? 884s are only a 2" coil on a DCSB V6 4x4 in factory form.

Sounds right then. That's 2" on a stock truck. And you have a winch mount, winch, line.

So, effectively, I got 1" from these 2" springs? That sounds right?

I like the ride of the ome springs vs stock at 1.75". Think the ride will be affected much moving the billies to .85"?

I would think that it would be really stiff but if you have the time to do so you could always try it

Or you could sell them and go with 885s.

Or, still, you could add some top plate spacers which is likely what I would do. Preloading 884s is really not recommended.
