I decided to install the steel support from Mobtown underneath the stock protector. There are 3 tabs on the stock cover that you have to snip off in order to make it sit flush together. Then installed screws, steel tailgate protector from Voodoo and wala. Drank a beer and took some pics. Everything fit perfectly together and only took about 30 minutes. Highly recommend both products!!

Looks very nice. For the lip looks like if folds over the top, is there something under it (rubber stoppers) to prevent it from bending and scratching the outer shell?

KBVoodoo supplies a foam gasket for install but that thing isn't gonna bend. if it does you have more to worry about thatn scratches cuz your tailgate just got smashed
