Not clear on the thing about the seats. The sport seat pics are same seats I have in my offroad.. Visually, at least.

Would like to hear more about difference in the rear, mechanically..

Sport and OR share the same seats. The interior is the same on sport, OR, and SR5 except SR5 has different seats.

I should have bought a Camry because my Sport Tacoma gets stuck in dusty parking lots with its incapable drivetrain. :sadviolin:

Ah. Well, happy with my offroad so far. 6k miles on a 6 speed is good living, so far I've encountered no real limitations once I took the flaps off. I consider the brakes-based LSD on the sport a silly workaround, if you think about it it's nowhere near true LSD at all. Just using the brake on one wheel to lessen or halt wheel spin isn't the same as the transfer of power. The sports seem more of a pavement queen but I'm assuming the sport doesn't have 4wd...?

2015 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB 6 speed in Blue Ribbon :). Supercharged and other goodies make it alot of fun! Dual lockers, 34s and LT front and back will make it even more fun at the begining of next year :D

...yeah. those who would buy something with a fake hood scoop seem to often have locker envy. I know I have blower envy =/ I probly shoulda jumped on one of those when I first learned about them. As it stands now there seems no practical reason to buy a sport rather than an OR.. Was just curious about mechanical differences. Things like painted mirrors seems kinda silly and sounds like the kind of decision a woman would make. But to each their own, right? xD

I wanted the 8.4" axle and color matched everything. Plus an ARB locker is much stronger than the E locker. And hood scoop is more HP, its a scientific fact.

The TRD seats are the only thing from the Sport package I wish I had. But if I had to take a fake scoop to get the seats, I'd walk away from that deal every time. A fake scoop on a truck...good grief.

My Sport in an 2008. I chose the Sport because I like the color matched bumper/grill. It also had a real LSD, and a thicker sway bar. When I bought it, I didn't plan on doing a ton of off-roading with it. I also think the Sport rims look better than the other TRD models (at the time).

When I have taken it offroad, it's done pretty well.

    Hmm.. I smell some butthurt.

Anyway, whatever, those who bought a sport, right on to ya if the vehicle meets your needs. Now that I think about it, I suppose the sport also has 4wd, since it wouldn't be "TRD" otherwise, right? My current truck is only my second Tacoma, first one predated this one by a whole 5 months until I just had to have some TRD goodness xD

First you don't think the sport has 4wd and now only 4wds can be TRD. Someone didn't do their tacoma research prior to purchasing.

Mine's a 2WD pavement queen. I kind of like it that way. Does that mean I have a small penis? :(
