Awesome game. Hot as hell, there though. Not only did he pitch a complete game shut out, but Bumgarner launched a no doubter home run. It was Juan Marichal statue day. Look at all those K's on the wall.

 

The Royals are a very good ballclub.

 

Jays cooled off a bit this week but still played good ball.

Does anyone on here stream games? Particularly Braves games? I'm looking at getting Dish network and they have some screwed up deal with Fox that blacks the Braves game out on weekends here in the "metro Atlanta" area. I don't want to go with Dish because of this but for the overall deal and equipment they best suit my needs aside from this. So I'd like to find an alternative way to watch if possible to help with my decision. Looked at the MLB network but it too is blacked out for local team/s. Thanks.

 

Not sure on that. I have Directv and my teams owner doesn't hate their fans so I see all the games. I pay $90/mo for DTV. Would highly recommend core considering a company where I couldn't see my team.

 

Baseball is not my favorite so the Braves games are not my priority, just hate to sign a 2 yr contract knowing this. Big thing I like is they have Sling built in to their dvr to allow me to access any of my content anywhere. Direct is lacking in technology for this. I was a long time DTV customer and switched last yr because they were dragging there feet about the SEC network which they eventually agreed to terms on. Now U verse has screwed me over in pricing so I'm looking for cheaper options. Direct and Dish both have similar pricing but Dish has the locked price for the 2 yr contract. Direct has the typical intro for the 1st yr then goes to the full price which I hate dealing with. So basically I'm all for Dish except for that one problem of missing the Braves games so I'm looking to find other ways around it.

 

Bummed. Turned on the Giants game to see no Pence in Right field. He's having an MRI on his side after an awkward swing on his last a bat last night. He'd been in a mini slump recently but the Giants can not afford to lose Pence for more games.

Giants shut out the Cards. Pence out, Posey in a mini slump. Runs are going to be hard to come by. Pitching is suspect after Bumgarner. Vogy pitched a good one last night, despite the walks. Cain tonight, who hasn't gotten past the 5th since his return from the DL a month ago. Can only hope for a Dodger collapse……………

Pence most likely done for season. its an oblique strain which is usually 4-6 weeks and Pence swing...itll be the latter. Panik probably done for the season as well, expected herniated disk. I really hope we can stay close to LAD.
