    Since you won't need to buy a BOV or Wastegate. Cleans up packaging and placement as well as saves money from parts and fabrictation. As well as simplifies the build.

    Or the Garrett.

    First you need to figure out how much power you want to run as well as over all strength of the engine.

    I much prefer my Borg Warner hands down to the Precision.

    Secondly, the I feel the sizes I mentioned will be in your best bet. Unless of course you plan on making more power and need to go higher. Suck as the GT3582R. That is what we used on Toon's 1GR. Just over 400 whp @ ~8 psi.

    Update: Ok so my parents have notified me that I need a nicer vehicle than 99 ex cab taco... What does this mean? Well this means Bob will have to be sold and traded up to a nicer truck. In turn this will prolong the building of the 5VZ-FE. I promise that I will do it and that this isnt just some crap thread, its just gonna be awhile longer.

    My 99 ex cab trd prerunner was a great truck. I would still be driving it today if a kid hadn't come along and totaled it with his daddy's dodge. Had 199k miles and was still kicking strong till then

    Second gen tacoma in stock pre-runner V6 form regardless of trim or cab size will kick the shit out of your truck.

    But if you are looking for a fast truck to impress 16 year old boys and girls then you need a V8 or a lowered S-runner with a super charger and $10k in mods.

    Buy any newer family sedan and that will have more speed than you can handle anyways.
