The Never Ending or Progressing 2007 RC Bass Model Build

It was supposed to be done October 31, 2013.. It's been in shop for over a year and a half now. The truck isn't a priority since it's not a customer vehicle. It sucks, but at least the shop is staying busy!

It should be done in the next few months, I hope. It needs to get done soon so I can start on my stereo in the Corolla. I'm going to put the two 12" Mojos in my car as well.

Oh damn... Finally some progress on the truck!

 

It's been almost two years since the start of the remodel. My brother and another employee were talking about what's left to finish on the truck. Hopefully it's done within the next month or two.

How it sits right now. The overhead A/C control piece still needs to be finished. The seats are going in for upholstery soon. There's a lot of other little things that need to be done too.

This is a long time coming on this build. Looks incredible and I'm sure your brother will enjoy the fruits of the labor.

The box was taken out and black carpet was put in


Then they bolted the box back in



The subs were put back in and hooked up. They had it playing for a little bit. I forgot how hard it hit. As of right now all that's left is the overhead console for the A/C controls, a couple tweaks for the mounting of the iPad, the driver side door panel, and whatever needs paint. They've worked on it more in the last couple weeks than they have in the last year. They say about one more month. So hopefully this will be back on the road soon.

 

Can't wait for this all to come together. Glad to see some new pics. Keep posting!

New tweeters and LED's. All the plexiglass was repolished


The door panels are close to being complete. I also just found out there will be no door handles on the door panels. There will be a button that pops the door open, just like a truck or car with shaved handles but inside.



A little more progress on the over head console. Clear plexiglass will put next to the black plexiglass with LED's behind it. That will be the new dome light.
