Any suspension you can install and cycle with out needing a tape measure, is good enough for me. You can also fix it with a bfh.

Got out with another TW member today and saw some amazing terrain. Also had a shale covered hill that took the lockers and a lot of skinny pedal to get back up.

I worked on one ibeam truck 8 years ago and will never again. The only ibeams that work are the Roy style with center mounted radius arms.

Any of you guys with bed mounted battery use a post like this for where your battery would be under the hood?

Right now I have a distribution block that uses set screws to clamp down wires like the main cable from the battery in my bed, alternator, and main fuse box. Only problem the wires can't strain relief well and every 4 months I'm stripping wire because of no strain relief. Figure a battery post might be the stronger option to protect against vibration. Thoughts?

Mine comes from the bed and goes to one of those for the main fuse block under the hood.... Everything under the hood that went to the battery goes to that now.

Just hooked the factory wiring to them and then the 1/0 cable that runs back to the batteries. They are nice because it makes jumping people really easy when the batteries are buried under stuff

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
You have any photos of where the batteries are mounted?

Did you cut out the inner fender?

I really want to do that... Would be so much easier to work on things. But I don't want the width of a one piece front clip.

I've been considering this as well, my main concern is mud and snow getting in the engine bay. I was thinking cutting out 3 inches of it and welding them back in but not sure if it's worth all the work

They are behind the passenger rear seat to try and balance out the weight of the fuel tank

Yeah all the inner fenders are gone and just made a simple fender mount out of the 1"square tube. That bolts to the cab and the core support

So you have regular fiberglass fenders, just no sheet metal inner fenders?

Sign me up for that. Where did I out that cutting wheel...
