    I'm at the service center now (in Rhode Island) - I have a 2012 TRD Sport Upgrade package.

    Need 4 tires - quoting the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 265/60R18E

    4 Tires = 1006
    Mounting = 60
    Alignment = 79.99

    Total (before tax) = 1145.99

    Is this rape? Or reasonable? I'm not handy and can't do this stuff myself so I have to either do it at the dealer (where I am now) or at a tire place in town. Thoughts?

    Added size to post (265/60R18E) and state (Rhode Island).

    Not great, but not terrible. Do you need the alignment?

    Tires are a bit more expensive than all the on-line stores. But only by about 15 a tire. You are fine.

    Havent ever had one since buying the car new - but my understanding is whenever you get new tires you have to do it (or am I being taken for a ride, again)?

    And you can go to firestone. They'll do a free alignment check before making you pay for the alignment. Just have them change your tires too.

    probably fair for BFG's. I'm in South Carolina, where everybody in the country swears things are cheaper, and an alignment down here is about $80, labor to put on a set of tires is between $60 and $80 depending on size (we like our 40+" tires) and as for the tires themselves, it seems about right as well. I priced some 275/70r18's for my old truck and they were going to run about $1000. You may be able to save $100 by shopping around, but is the time and effort worth $100?

    60 bucks is within my pain threshold. If everyone agrees I feel better. Thanks all for the quick replies.

    Unless you're changing tire size significantly, lifting it, or had wear issues with your old tires, I wouldn't pay for an alignment.

    Maybe try to haggle them down if you're comfortable doing that? I paid $700 out the door at discount tire for my ko2s 265/75r16 E

    Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
    When I buy tires at my local tire shop (WV), mounting/balancing is included, as is free rotation and balancing. I called them and they were $10 a tire less than you were quoted (but mounting included). As for the alignment, I've never had one unless the vehicle actually needed it. "You need it with new tires" is a gimmick and a waste of $$$ in my opinion.

    just curious... OP... mileage for your 12' and which original tires do you have? I have a Sport as well. also do you have the 4X4 sport which is why you are going with BFG all terrain. Never thought of Rhode Island as a mecca for off roading...

    I haggled with Firestone and got a set of Bridestone Dueler's installed and an alignment for $685.

    They first quoted me $825

    Sounds like the OP is getting hammered. I just put a set of Cooper HTs 245/75/16 on my truck OTD for $601 including mount and balance, tax etc at my local shop. He even got me out the door for less than $800 on my Ram with 20 inch wheels...

    Btw, alignment is a waste of money unless you're having issues.
