Please, share the links where people that have actually driven the truck say it is worse than the outgoing truck.

I'm sure any article he shows that says that will include the terms "girly engine" and "minivan motor".

I keep telling you, the forum's a lot cleaner since hitting "ignore," but to each their own.

I tried ignore but for some reason all of the quotes kept showing up. That's not really ignore...

If you watch the TFL Truck review video, they discuss the upgrades to the frame with a Toyota engineer. Also, there's a preview video of their upcoming off road review where they talk a little about flex. Might provide a little more insight.

Got this from TFL or one of the reviews. Can't remember which. Enjoy.

Optical delusion? Check out the flagpoles in many of the photos...
    http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2015/08/2016-toyota-tacoma-first-drive.html

Compare their angle to the trees growing in the background. Do you suppose they intentionally adjusted the angle on them so that the photographers would make it appear the truck was climbing a 60 degree slope? What it is doing is pretty darn impressive. Why exaggerate? (that was a rhetorical question)

Anyone notice in this brochure the Tacoma gained no more towing on the DC models with 4x4. Still 6400 lbs towing.

This photo is particularly useful, I think, comparing the second and third. I generally find the non-colors boring: white, gray, black, silver. But that Limited looks pretty good in MGM. I'm glad they didn't give all of them the cheese grater grille. The slightly higher belt line might not be good for visibility, but the deeper bed is nice.

It's always been 6400 lbs for the automatic. 2016 manual is 6700 lbs. 2015 manual is 6500 lbs.
