    It was a toss up between AEM and snow. I honestly prefer the AEM brain, looks only. I went with snow because of the nozzles they claim to be the best.

    If only I could plug and play the UCON. I am seriously thinking of making the harness required , I already have the ECU (don't ask junk yard score) just need a second one to harvest the receptacle lol

    I know of a member with a '12(?) that is running the 2.55" and an NST lower. Using the UniChip for tuning (plug n play). Cannot remember if he is using meth or a 7th injector. Small lift, larger than stock tires. Lots of added weight. Makes a pretty damn quick time down the 1/8th considering.

    I know of another using the 2.55 with a built engine. Getting a stroker kit installed. Should be easy mid 400's whp. Possibly closer to 500 when all sais and done. He definitely uses meth.

    I thought of unichip but local dyno/tuner does not have the provisions nor the knowledge to tune with it. I am hoping to get the 2.7 at least w/o tune. Then maybe this winter I'll work on the ECU. I highly doubt I will safely be able to do anything past he 2.7 w/o some kind of tuning. I have been thinking of getting a bigger Low temp radiator made as well.

    Radiator? Heat exhanger? Or both?

    That guy has been tuning his own, but is now thinking of switching to the MAP-ECU3. Since it has more features of control. He is a go getter though, and isn't satisfied with waiting for plug.

    Heat exhanger mounted in front the rad. I briefly looked into getting a thicker radiator made. Oodles of room after getting rid of the clutch type fan. Cost vs benefit is quite low though.

    You can pretty easily piece together a larger heat exchanger, from Jegs or Summit Racing. Or find one from a larger engine vehicle. Say the Tundra or Ford Lightning.

    I don't know if it has changed in recent years, but the pump itself had a Ford stamp on it. The upgrade when it failed, which has happened a lot in my history of these forums, has been to get the pump from the Lightning's kit.

    Yes I did change my fuel pump. I did it along with the 2.8 pully. I have 0 data with out it. I figured that it's a safe bet and pretty simple to do.

    We did testing. Independent of URD's. Compliments of @Moose1988 . Burnt the pump up at a fairly low HP equivalent flow rate. With the oem filter it came with. Testing was done in a lab. Not my garage. Apparently I lost the CD of the flow data.

    If you only ever plan on the s/c and its stock pulley, on a TACOMA, leave it alone. If you ever plan on adding more boost and more mods, on the TACOMA, upgrade the pump!

    Yup, thinking on tackling my pump replacement next week...maybe this week, we'll see how much free time I can get. Need to throw on the 2.85 pulley and then watch my AFR...now I just need to track down a good welder for my headers...

    On another note, picked up some 265/70/17 MT's today, can DEFINITELY feel the difference in power. Really glad I've got the boost and performance mods...my god, what ever was I thinking before lol
