Was out scouting for elk this weekend and was on some pretty bad trails. Driving home I noticed my steering wheel vibrates now pretty bad between about 55-65 mph. I looked underneath and didn't see anything jacked up and no big dents. Any ideas? Thanks

Probably have mud / dirt caked in a wheel or knocked some beads off. Clean wheels, if vibe is still there you should rebalance the tires.

Mud. If you have mud on lets say the inside of the rim it acts basically like wheel weights... but obviously jacks everything up... Hit it really well with a pressure washer!

I had so much mud caked in mine one time i couldn't go over 35 until i made it to a car wash!

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.

And if it's red clay (like we have here), it weighs a 1,000,000 lbs / cubic inch. ☺

Thanks for the info everyone. I have the Baja fake beadlocks so I'm sure there is some good AZ mud in there. I will spray it all out and see how she drives.

Bilstein 5100's w/ Eibach coil overs in front (set at 3" of lift). Front diff drop kit. Extended Bilstein 5100's in the rear. Deaver 2" AAL in rear w/ axle shims. 285 x 75 r 16 Goodyear Duratracks. Wheelers steelies type B, AFE cold air intake. Sway bar delete. All Pro Apex front bumper (rattle canned Rustoleum primer + flat black). Plasti-dipped emblems. Mud flaps removed.
Mine do this too, and the duratracks will hold some until I'm doing about 80 around a slight curve, then violently hurl them at near the speed of light to destroy my paint.

Steel wheels collect mud and snow like crazy. Had some packed snow freeze and it shook so bad I thought the wheels were leaving the ground.

The fake bead lock rims that came on my 2012 T|X Pro were notorious for collecting ice & mud causing vibration if not cleaned.

Just pulled about 10 pounds of dirt/rocks out of the beadlocks. Drives great again. Thanks for all the help everyone!
