    What about 887s, same rate as 885 but taller.

    I'm not a fan of ome coils on others shocks. They were designed to be used together with nitros.

    Yeah I know. But there shouldn't be a problem as long as the 5100s are kept at 0. Lots of people have ran it and no failure. Plus my truck honestly sees no off-road so they won't be used too hard.

    I was thinking that. There are some nitrochargers with 886s on them in the BST for $350 shipped. Was debating on running that with a top plate spacer if I need additional lift.
    Or crank the 5100s with my stock coils I have now to 2.5" and a top plate of I need it.

    I just want to stay level.

    Without a front bumper I think the 886 would be too stiff, the 887 are usually recommended for your setup. Money wise, just bump your billys.

    Well you see.. There is a solid chance that Billy at brute force fab is receiving an order in a day or two .. ;)

    But yeah i was thinking the billy's as well. Just want to decide if it's time to swap out my stock coils while we have it apart. They're at 88k now.

    Noticed the noise awhile ago, didn't have any play in the u joints tho. Went to the mountains this past weekend (around 1000 miles total for the trip) and started getting bad vibrations and clunks, didn't drive anywhere yesterday and decided to take a look again today.

    You should have greased them when you heard the squeak, damage was already done by that point but it would have lasted longer.
    My recently purchased '08 DCSB had total rear shaft replacement by dealer (before I got it ) because the rear joint went, dealer won't replace just the joint ( so they told owner ) only full assembly. $1200 for full shaft and carrier assembly.

    Crock o crap.

    New shaft has no fittings
