    Gone over the Top for a 5-lug..
    Had someone come onto Toyota Tacoma Enthusiasts on farcebook and posted this beauty up. It was his. I only caught the tail-end of the shit-show, before he deleted the post and rage-quitted.

    The amount of people ripping him a new one, was most reassuring.

    First he justified it as door-ding protection, then he pulled the self-entitled card by saying he was a 22 year disabled veteran, then he made vague threats about a .45 when people said he was just asking for a key job, or an involuntary tow out.

    Classy.

    Every time someone does that near me I take their hitch off and throw it in their bed for them... Both as a service to the dude trying to park behind him and with reckless abandon as to what dent it might make in the non painted bed most of these poser trucks have. I swear every one by me has a spotless and clean painted bed. It's like they don't even use them

    I think there are 2 groups here
    The first group are people who park aallllll the way at the end of the parking lot by themselves furthest away from the destination and take 2 spots to avoid damage, these folks I don't really take issue with
    The next group are a mix of bad parkers and people who feel entitled to double park 15 steps away from the destination to avoid damage. The second group is the asshole group.

    I'm glad I lock my hitch in place. To be honest, if I walked out and saw somebody messing with any part of my truck they will end up eating concrete. I've had my trucks broke into enough times that I don't second guess situation with suspicious people.

    Also, that's pretty messed up that you would purposely damage someone's vehicle.

    When you park terribly, it just asks for someone to zoom in right close to you. People will get closer to "dinging" you than if you just park normally imo.. BTW, this thread has made me smile quite a bit lol.

    That isn't double parking. Double parking is when you park in front a space with a car in it, blocking them in. It's actually when you park beside a car on a curb but that is rare so it moved to parking lot terminology

    While I hate bad parking jobs, as they disregard the painted rules of how a vehicle should be parked, I disagree with taking it that far. I will never willfully damage someone else's property, especially their truck if they piss me off. I think it is much worse to tamper with someone's vehicle than to park inappropriately.
