So..... my 35s are about an inch away from the uca. They are 12 inch wide. The 37s are 13 inch wide...... be kinda scared to run spacers

 

Given what you've already done to that poor truck, adding spacers probably isn't too high on the WTF list.

 

It would be number 2 on the list. Especially when one of my tires come off on the freeway

 

Don't be scared, fear keeps you sharp. Or just run 60 lbs of air in them, keep those sidewalls vertical.

 

Never been a fan of spacers for that reason.

I've never quite understood the wheel falling off paranoia. Assuming you buy a quality spacer, I would be much more concerned with bearing life, then a wheel beating you to the pizza joint. Of course, best answer is a wheel with the proper spacing, but if you need to run some spacers until a wheel you like with a decent price shows up, do it.

 

The bearing life is more of a concern. Not that it's difficult to change. Just rathernot change it every year. 35s are pretty darn heavy already. 37s are going to be heavier.
