I'm out of the office for the next week (Vegas to Reno Race) but can look into some GB pricing upon my return. Stock is somewhat limited on the old models at the moment but I think there is a container due shortly with more. I'll update on that when I'm back in.

@cruiseroutfit I just called today to put my name down on one of the new models. Let me know if there is anything else you need from me.

I really need a snorkel and serious about picking one up.

I just got my rig back today with the Safari snorkel installed My mechanic had to do some customizing. The template that was supplied was fine but the instructions and extra parts to adapt it to the Tacoma did not work. Maybe since mine is a 2014. I think he did an excellent job and it really looks clean.

All right gents, back in the saddle... well the office anyways.

We have a new option for the group buy SS135MOD snorkel, that is the SS135MODR. Safari just released the "R" version snorkels this last month, same shape, design, hardware... just a less expensive plastic. It's good enough for them to stamp their name on it, so I'm comfortable offering it. What that has done is lowered the cost of the snorkel a significant amount. Would there be some interest from you guys in using the "R" model for the Group Buy which could end up being more like $100 off the kit? I'll have to confirm numbers of course but I think we could land in that realm.

Hmmmm, so that is the model that fits "good enough" right?

Correct, that is the same snorkel body as our popular SS135MOD that has been installed on hundreds of Tacoma's, pic here for example:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2005-2015-tacoma-safari-snorkel.350645/page-13#post-10626812

This is NOT the new snorkel design spec'd solely for the 2nd Gen Tacoma, that snorkel still has no official ETA to the US and the price will NOT be anywhere near the SS135MODR (new plastic design) or SS135MOD (old plastic formula)

Anyway to get price points before and after group buy for both models? I'm skeptical about less expensive plastic that will take abuse on trails from branches and such, but I'm still open to the idea.
