    Name is Joe,

Came across this forum in hopes that I can get some info the reliability of the Tacomas. As my name states, I'm in the final stages of buyin a 97 Taco. Its got about 88k miles on it. So I think that it has a lot of life to live. 3RZ 2.7L 5 speed.

I would just like to get the everyone's opinion on it. Any pointers and anything that I should look out for. Any and all help would be appreciated :)

    Thanks in advance,
    Joe

btw-I was a ford man, but I got kinda tired of fixin it up every other month. haha bigger and better things

I have a 96 ranger, it is a great truck, but its high up on miles, I've had it since 16,000 miles. But the tacoma is going to be my first 4x4. . .so I'm really excited/hesitant about the whole situation. :)

I'm just worried that the 2.7L won't be enough power offroad.
