pun intended? also does anyone have a clue as to what we're doing for QB this year? If it were me i would just direct snap to Henry until someone could stop him. I mean he got like 115 yards on 6 carries against Ohio state last year, i still dont understand why he only got 6 carries, freakin Kiffin better get his act together this year.

I hope David Cornwell steps up. Or Blake Barnett. If Coker has struggled this much, it means one of two things. 1. He isn't that good, or 2. the other guys are just as good, and have a better relationship with the team.

Cornwell is a Sophomore. He will be around for at most two more years.

Blake Barnett is gonna be more QB than Saban needs and will probably transfer if he doesn't win the starting job next year.

I don't know why nobody else seems to realize this, but ESPN has been on OSU's nuts for a few years now. They are the only powerhouse in the Big10. They get MOST (90%) of Big 10 coverage, unless you involve Sandusky.

Braxton Miller has been the "Best QB" in the nation for what seems like a decade now, and he's lining up at WR this year.

They played very well at the end of the year last year. They deserved the Natty. Elliot is a straight BEAST. Very fast, and makes quick decisions. Meyer knows how and where to recruit. He knows the SEC style teams are dominant. Hence why he took that style to a weaker conference and blew out the closest competition 59-0. o_O

You may hear more about OSU this year than Alabama. Good. Somebody else from the SEC needs to step up anyways....lol

I'll see if Amy can get one. I have a Hines Ward UGA action figure still in the package that I got at a yard sale for $1 that I want to get signed.

Winners get coverage I don't see anybody beating them this year. Favorable schedule and they are loaded with talent.

FSU has 2 arrests this offseason.
Bama has 5 arrests this offseason.
Miss St. has 3 arrests this offseason.
UF has 6 arrests this offseason.

Haven't seen a single one of them in the news besides FSU. Something doesn't seem a little fishy there?

But it's only 17 days till kickoff?

Might want to change your avenues for receiving news. I have seen all of the Bama arrests. And the Miss. St. Just didn't see the UF arrests. Only saw the one FSU.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Its about locations, and how severe the crimes were. Obviously we saw all the fsu stuff because it involved the same 2 positions on the team who have been in trouble the past 2 years (RB, and QB).

Also depends on how recently they were arrested and how well known the players are. All 3 of MSU's arrests happened in the spring, and only one involved relatively well known player in De'runnya Wilson.

Almost said this but didn't want to jinx us.

Idk about the severe part, most of ours are usually under aged drinking or driving violations and we get thrown under the bus and treated like thugs.

Here at Alabama, we just boot you off the team, whether the accusations are legit or not.

I was under the impression he meant FSU can't stay out of main stream news. I'm pretty sure most in this thread see what happens because they follow their own teams and CFB in general closely.

What do you mean by locations?

On the severity part, a player on Auburn was charged with like 10 counts of theft and burglary, all of which were felonies. De'Andre Johnson was charged with a misdemeanor battery charge. Guess which one was in Washington Post and NYTs.

A freshman who was at FSU for no more than 6 months was all over mainstream media so no I don't think it has anything to do with how well known the player is.

    That seems really fair.

I'm anxious to see Bama's front seven in action this Fall. It's talented, deep, and fierce. The secondary should be slightly better, but I think it will get a lot of help from the pressure the front 7 puts on QB's and its ability to stuff the run.

The O will probably feature a heavy dose of Henry and Drake, along with Drake split out as a receiver. I'm also looking forward to Stewart, and some flashy freshmen play from Ridley. The QB situtation will be settled and in good hands by week 3.
