Welp, I don't see enough to make me want to upgrade soon. I'm sticking with my 10 year plan. I have an 08 TRD Sport. Hopefully by then they change a couple of things I don't like. The chrome grill being one of the things.
Maybe the price will drop a little too.

I've seen zero mention of Prerunners. Are all models either Prerunner or 4x4 just with the badge omitted? No more low slung 5-lug pool boy trucks anymore?

Correct. One suspension set-up now instead of two. Cheaper and easier for logistics, production, and training.

Also, because the trim levels have changed, it lets journalists and forum trolls complain about how the 3rd gen 4-banger gets worse MPG than the 2nd gen...

Anyone familiar with the stock sound system from the 2011's(what I have now), compared to the new Entune system
of the 2015's - I assume the system in the 2015 will be similar to what will come in this one. Just found out
from my dealer that the addition of the JBL system was denied.

Taller doesn't mean deeper.....right? Like, it's not the same thing.

But, but a month ago a Toyota rep. said new suspension for a smoother, sure ride on the street.....
Will wait another year, for the 2017 rear disc brakes....

Look, the smaller it is, the faster it can go. And in a race to finish first, speed matters.

It's the same basic parts; control arms and mounts and such. Springs and shocks have been tuned differently.

    :annoyed:

If the distance from the floor to the top increases, it is deeper.

I think it was stated that they just raised it up an inch....making it an inch taller....but not necessarily any deeper. I dunno...

I mean, I guess in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. Adding 1 inch of depth is only going to put you over capacity for the leafs.
