I work at Harbor Freight and the Flex head Ratcheting Wrenches are on sale. I also get a discount so I would get them cheaper. There are also Flex head socket wrenches around that price and so the question is if you had to pick one out of the four here, which would you choose?

Ratchets are the one thing I NEVER skimp on...EVER. I don't usually skimp on any tool except for chrome sockets 1/2" and below, I'd buy a nice set but I'm just screw em up like every other set I've ever had. Now back to the ratchet, if you have the means, I'd suggest a Snap-on locking flex head 80 tooth ratchet. They are by no means cheap. I paid ~$100 for 1/4" drive, ~$160 for the 3/8ths and ~$200 for my 1/2". Using a quality ratchet is a life changing experience, less busted knuckles, less wobble, less "Fuck this P.O.S.!!" I do use mine daily so I could justify the cost.

This poll is deeply flawed and needs a none of the above option. :)

To be honest, I have been wrenching a long time and have never used or needed a ratchet with a flexing head. They appear awkward at best. I'll stick to the extensions and universals...

I would get the ratcheting wrenches and have used them quite often.

I've got a set of black hawk ratchet wrenches and the are awesome. Don't turn them for a living but they come in handy. Also believe in quality tools just can't buy as many as I want. Gotta really pick and choose. What you need vs what you want.

I voted wrenches, because a wrench can usually fit where a ratchett and socket may not

You don't know what you're missing. It doesn't get much better than a Snap-on SLF80A 1/2 drive, 24" long flex head ratchet when things are tough, and access is tight.
