Does anyone on here have Dish network and watch the Braves? It's my understanding that they have some strange deal with Fox sports to black out the games on the weekends for the " metro Atlanta" area. I'm looking for alternatives to watch so wanted to ask on here. I'm looking to switch to Dish but this is my hang up with them. Other than that they have the overall best deal and features I need and want. And Direct tv who I was a long time customer is pissing me off. If I could find a way to stream the games it would help me to make a decision.

I have Att uverse and it is really good. Good internet and I get the Braves. Google dish network Braves blackout and you can read the story. For some reason they had a big falling out, it's pretty sad.

Any of you guys live in/around the Augusta area? I will be moving up that way this fall for an internship at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

I currently have U verse and they won't give me a reasonable price. Had it for a yr then nearly doubled the price and now want me to sign a new contract at about $150 a month vs the $113 I was paying for the same package. Got me at $190 now unless I sign.

Considering charter but they lack in technology compared to everybody else.

Watch out for Comcast; they were rated the worst company in America last year. I've never heard anything good about them. My fiancee's sister and her husband had Dish, but switched when the Braves crap happened. We've had Directv for years and I love them. Last week, our receiver just stopped working and we had a new one at our doorstep in less than 24 hrs. When we got UVerse internet, we called to get rid of Directv to switch to UVerse and they lowered our payment AND upgraded 2 of our receivers to HD receivers. I think you've just got to call and get in touch with someone nice and they'll haggle with you some.

I've got Comcast and it's not bad. We got the cheapest package that had internet. So we have 10 basic channels and HBO  haven't had any problems yet

Same here, only thing available at my place is Comcast...it's $60 a month for basic cable, some premium channels and faster internet...

On another note - I will get rid of my Duratracs this week, after 5 balancing attempts they still shake me truck at 55mph, will switch them out for KO2...I have an appointment @ DT tonight to get the paperwork straightened out to get them swapped.
