Pressure sensor and brake pull???

Hi!
I have a '08 Access Cab 2wd with boring factor 15" steel wheels. I picked up a set of 18" wheels from a '08 X-runner and bolted them on. Looked nice, but...

After about a week (and after some hard cornering) the pressure sensor light went on in the cab. All tires have 45 lbs and the spare is fully inflated. Swapped the old 15" wheels back on and the light went off. The 2 front tires are new. The 2 back tires are about 50% worn. Could the slight difference in height between the front and back tires set off the pressure sensor light or might it be a bad sensor? If it is a bad sensor, how do I id which sensor needs repair?

More annoying than the light is the brake pull. My truck has 14K miles on it and stops good and straight. Brake pads are still thick. When I bolted on the 18" wheels and stomped on the brakes, the truck darts to the right. When I went back to the 15 stockers, the brake pull vanished. I'm guessing this has something to do with changed steering geometry??? or ???

The tire size has no effect on the TPMS system. If you have not done so already, you will need to do one of two things, or both.

1. Put TPMS sensors in the new set of wheels.

2. Take the truck into the dealer, or a tire center that has the equipment to do so, and have the TPMS synced to your new sensors.

Well, I did not swap the sensors. The 18" wheels are "stock" toyota wheels from the X-runner with the sensors still in place. So I need to have them "synced" to the truck...thank-you for the education!
