    Ive thought about that. Buy a donnor truck and do the swap. Or rebuild my 2.7 and supercharge it. I like how it revs compared to the v6

    Thats not how the weight different works at all.

    The spinning weight of the wheel makes a difference in power and mpg.

    it was also done on a BMW car.. my point is that heavier wheels and tires have negative impacts on mpg and power regardless of the vehicle.
    the 2.7 does not like bigger tires as it is but add in the fact that they are 15 lbs heavier than stock on average compared to the highway tires it came with OE will make a huge difference.
