Well this sucks... Totaled..

I'd be a bit peeved if my rates went up over a small claim like that especially if you had a pretty solid driving record. Close friends of mine have had their cars totaled or had 10K plus damage and never saw their rates rise. Guess its a crap shoot.

 

Not a thing on my record prior to accident. My rates only went up $20 a month for 3 years, $720 so I wasn't too mad about it. I mean, they did pay a bill that I did not. It is now off my record and my rates dropped $80 a month last month so in the end, I am making out just fine.

waiting on a call back from a toyota dealership. They just got a trade in 2009 4x4 4door,v6, with 62K less miles than mine had on it. So waiting for them to go over it and call me back.

 

Back to the search, the 09 i had been told about by the dealer, the dealer said that the rear end was trashed and so they couldnt sell the truck.

 

Got my new truck today, 110,000 miles, Leather interior (including door trim pieces) heated seats, 4x4, tow packages, Brake Controller. Ill make a new build thread in a few days.. going to black out all the chrome.. im not a fan of all the chrome.. and black out the wheels... question on the tint though.. it has the stock toyota tint but got a scrape in it.. is it hard for a tint shop to take off and put new tint on.. im looking at going 20 all around.. also may have a couple things for sale off of it.. maybe the floor mats and some other odds and ends.. ill put them in my for sale thread when i figure out what i dont want..
