    im just saying the SCIENCE behind it, says size doesn't matter. weight is the only important thing.

    a 1000" tire that weighs 40lb is just as difficult as a 10" tire that weighs 40lb

    engine size, as well as gearing, can help make it easier to spin things.

    Just curious, I thought the size did matter a little bit because of wind resistance/aerodynamics? I guess that would be more for tire width not height..? Maybe not though.. :notsure:

    Width along with tread and compound effects friction which can make vehicles faster or slower. So can aerodynamics.


    Moral of the story: you have a truck. If you cared about acceleration, top speed, handling, braking, or fuel efficiency, you wouldn't own a truck.

    Guys, guys, guys.... calm down! I already am aware that my choice of tires may hinder performance. My truck came with 225/75/15 so yah, it's most likely the gearing and rather un powerful engine. My new wheels are much lighter than the stockers and my old tires are lighter than the new ones. So together I'd have thought it was sort of a wash.

    4.56 should do you just fine I have 32x11.5r15 Km2s but they're really close to 33s. And my 4.56 nitros are matched quite nicely to them. Just sayin.

    My truck is still a daily driver and has to deal with snow every winter so Mud Terrains wouldn't serve me very well. The new KO2s are at least snow and heavy weather rated now and perform well for the northwest terrain.

    Ahh but they would. I live in a shitty icy winter climate but you have to sipe them..that's the key. Otherwise yes they are complete hockey pucks.
