But it would be a lot like a drug dealer reporting someone for stealing their stash.

...in closing, there is zero accountability in society these days so the last person I expect to take accountability and remember to not leave paraphernalia out is a stoner.

I can't tell you in all my travels the # of times I saw some stoner trying to pack and/or light a bowl while screaming down the highway at 68mph (in a 75mph zone) and this was BEFORE it was legal. Well, the drug. Not the action I just mentioned. I guess we can't expect a stoner to fully understand the intricacies with what 'legalization' actually means.

Maybe, I was merely being humorous with that comment. :)
But it's illegal to have it in the car in the first place, open and loaded, and used/in use. I doubt they say anything and if they did I bet they wouldn't pursue it. If they did, simple enough to point out the facts and ask them to find another dealership to do business with.

Bottom line, don't drive somebody else's car with illegal stuff in it. Cops aren't stupid by any means, but they don't know Brian from Adam, unless it's the same cop pulling him over and he's aware of what's going on. Otherwise, look forward to a ticket, cuffs, piss test, attorney fees and lost work and wages.

No one takes responsibility/accountability anymore.. that's with nearly anything these days. Everyone is always quick to either point a finger or just bitch and complain.

That's how the Army is and it blows my mind. The lack of respect for people who outrank someone is just ridiculous. Just shut up and do your job. My platoon sergeant did a test last week to prove how young soldiers question everything. He called a soldier in and said "start pushing" (as in drop and do pushups) if said soldier questioned/complained he made them do 10 pushups. If they said "Roger" or just dropped, he had them get up without doing them. 99% questioned why..

You think I am going to blindly follow my leader and just do push ups? Hell no! I am gonna Google "push ups" and make sure they are safe for me to do. Cause the intrawebz haz all the answers and is always right! :)

Wow after all this I'm going to eat some more brownies and listen to Bob M.:rasta:

On the serious side I can not have the grass. I still fall under federal safety guide lines at work for operating equipment.

I'm not saying they just drop random people for no reason but it was to prove a point. Most teams are out supporting other units on this huge Korea- wide exercise so we run 24hours. People with night shift were complaining cuz we left at 0800 to setup our equipment but they were complaining they would have to work all day then pull their night shift. Sorry bro that's how it is. Sometimes you gotta work longer than expected to do your job. That's why I say the quicker you work and with a sense of urgency, the quicker you can relax

Just finished mowing the lawn and remembered something that happened two years ago.

My brother in law, of my most recent divorce, was a crackhead drug addict.
He died the day before Thanksgiving two years ago, drug overdose. That's not really what this is about though.

My wife and I had to go to the Boulder Courthouse to pick up what was found on his person by the coroner. I was actually surprised when they produced a large Ziploc bag with his wallet, a few dollars, some business cards, lighters, his glass crack pipe, his pot pipe, his bag of weed, and something wrapped in paper that was a brown powder. I think it may have been heroin.
We were allowed to walk out of the courthouse with it, no questions asked.

Finding an apartment or room in a house for 3-4 months is becoming stupid. Granted if I wanted to shell out $1600/mo it wouldn't be an issue but I'm looking more like for $600 or less.

What would the response have been at a dealer in any of the neighboring states? I can assure you that in Alabama they would have called the police for it being on their property

It was actually 3 years ago.

I think personal affects are personal affects no matter what they are. Unless it's part of an investigation, I guess they just hand it over. :notsure:
