@Whitecloud @Ariyan I had a blast. I see I picked up some line habits from the solid front axle that I need to change. It was a great chance to see how my new truck handles. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 unused BFG AT KO's I bought some time ago from a fellow forumite and am going to buy 2 more as my tires are all worn out & cracking with age. I'm thinking about buying 2 of the newer BFG AT KO2 tires; does anyone think this mix (KO & KO2) would be a bad idea? I still use the stock 31" size. Looks like the KO2 is only 2-ply in that size, whereas the original KO is 3-ply. The KO2 is a more open tread pattern and might do better in the wet.

Pigger! What's up Greg long Time no hear hows that bacon supply?

The tire mix should be fine I would put the 3plys up-front personally just because off roach you would be pushing thru the rough stuff first if that makes any sense....

FYI it's southern_x aka Kevin just got my handle changed on here but welcome back to the money pit forums

Hey! How have you been? I'm busy as all get-out, but having fun. I think I've had my truck underwater (& under mud) too many times; the A/C compressor/clutch is all SAF. I get a lot of belt squeal, and can smell the hot belt when I stop after having the A/C on. Oh well, the cost of wheeling, right? :D

I need to dump some $$$$ into my poor ol' truck. Take some of that bacon money & put it in the truck instead.

Anyone know of a good shop I can bring my taco in for some mods here in Alb. or surrounding areas? I don't trust the dealership and i don't have the right knowledge and tools to do it myself. I'm in the market for a new suspension and also thinking about putting spacers on my truck (i know a lot of people here on TW are against them but my new tires are rubbing again and I've already cut quite a bit of material off of my truck). I'm new to TW but any info would be appreciated.

if you can avoid spacers i would, go with http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-Adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks_p_132.html its a good lift and very reasonable, and most of all on a wrench day im sure the local taco people would be able to help install. oh and welcome where in NM are you from?

if you need some install quick i would check with desert rat and maybe 4wheel parts

Oh sorry. Probably should have put a little info about myself. I live here in Albuquerque but grew up in Las Vegas (NM).

Alright ill check them out. Yeah Ive heard a lot of people say not to use spacers. I am just now learning about lift kits and its so confusing for me. Lets just say I am now really thankful for TW.

I have a 2012 Taco w a 3" lift kit that I am ridiculously embarrassed to say, I do not know what kit I am running, coils, or shocks. I got excited when I was able to finally purchase my taco and allowed the dealership to install a lift that exact day, without knowing a thing about lift kits. I can say that its worked out for me so far but I now want a new suspension and like I mentioned earlier, my tires are rubbing again :/

    Thanks for the help!
