    Officer initiates traffic stop

    Officer observes you in a mechanic dressed uniform

    Officer stated reason for stop, request for ID, etc

    Officer addresses said substance he observed upon contact

    You state your story. Officer will either drop it on the spot, confiscate it, cite you, contact your employer for verification, contacts said customer, etc or a combo of many of the above.

    My .02: he will send you on your marry way presuming he believed you're being honest with him. They're human too, and understand things are out of your control. He/she may have a few words to relay to your employer about policy/procedure on said substance, but IMO- he/she won't make a big deal out of it as long as your story checks out with that officer.

    I was worried it was more like a domestic disturbance call. Once seen an arrest has to be made, then sort it out later. From what I have been reading it would fall under the same circumstance as an open bottle of beer/liquor.

    Just FYI, I did make my stance known on MJ with management, they do agree, while legal, we don't have to drive a vehicle with it in passenger cabin. The customer will have to remove any that we find before work will progress. We will be talking with Englewood PD whenever they come by again so we have a little more knowledge on the laws.

    I'm reaching out to the Colorado crowd for some help. I am headed off to school tomorrow at School of mines and because I'm a first year student, I'm not allowed to park my truck on campus. I'd like to have it around somewhere so I can wheel but also take it home and see my friends and family. We haven't been able to find anywhere in Golden so far to keep it. If anyone would like to store it or if they know a place, let me know. I am willing to pay, whether it be in someone's driveway or in a parking garage.
