I used the part number on the original 90910-11264, to cross reference to a Dorman part number 911-601.

So far I've logged 2700 miles with no CEL.

Is it just the solenoid plug itself?

Yup, just unplug the connector, then the two vacuum lines that are attached. The solenoid is held in place with one small screw. It was pretty simple.

I dropped the spare tire and unplugged the larger vacuum line to make it easier to get at.

Nice! I had no idea this thing was located back there. I thought it was in the engine bay for some reason. Just ordered it from oreilys and I should have it in by end of day Friday so we'll see if that fixes the issue. Thanks for your help man!

    ...too much shit to list.
There are more than one VSV's. One is on the charcoal canister and two under the hood. Well on my truck anyway. Can't speak to the 4 cylinders.

4 cylinders are the same. There's one little one tucked in under the intake plenum. The other is right on the inside of the driver's fender

It's rattle can spray. I did a ton of prep and really took my time. It's been on over a year and a half and no issues of peeling (except in the bed where it's been abused). Easy to clean but stickers won't stick. I painted a section and used the decal as a mask and then resprayed the bed liner. Probably not optimal but I bought about 8 extra cans expecting touch ups along the way and it's held up great through ice, snow, mud and normal road grime.

It's the rustoleum spray on bed liner. But again, like anything its ALL in the prep.... my $0.02

I've wondered the same thing..... but my 2.7 is blessed with 4.56's stock. I can still run 80 with my 33's.... but who doesn't want more power!

Okay cool. I did my rear bumper but I probably didn't prep it too good because it flakes off. How many coats would you say?

I did three light and a final wet coat. All within 1 hour of each other and it was about 65/70 degrees out too

So the code could potentially be any one of these 3 vsv's? Or potentially something else?
