Did a warm weather delete: routed lower coolant line from IAC back into the round thing. Should be good for .2 hp.

What is that round thing? Seems to have a vacuum valve to control the coolant passage i assume.

Also is there a rubber bushing that fills the space on the fuse box below where the engine loom enters the box? Theres a space big enough to stick a finger through.

can anyone confirm if 1st gen tundra and 1st gen tacoma front brake lines have the same size fittings?

I have the LC eng 1st gen s13we brake kit on my truck, and the short section of brake line that goes from the spindle bracket to the caliper is a hard line that sticks out too far and will contact the camburg coilovers i will be putting in my truck soon (i need to switch to a banjo fitting for clearance)

i think stock tacoma ones work with minor modification to the banjo bolt, but if the tundra lines will work without mods i might as well get those. I know wheelersoffroad has front lines that will work without any mods required but they're $72 USD which after conversion and shipping ends up being about 120 canadian rupies which is kinda steep for 2 short brake lines

    ...too much shit to list.
No, not the same. As you kind of already know, the taco has a banjo, tundra has a hard line. You can drill down the banjo bolt and thread it into a tundra caliper though. Just make sure you use two new copper crush washers. The surface of the tundra calipers typically isn't machined as smooth.

alright thanks, i wasn't sure if all tundras came with the hard lines or just the LCE kit. I'll look into finding some tacoma banjo lines then. and thanks for the heads up about the washers, cheers

I got the LCE conversion kit that excludes the calipers/rotors/pads. It includes the Tundra OEM hard lines. I will find out this weekend if the hard lines will interfere with the ADS coilover install. I've heard that they are close but I'm betting that I can push the hard lines away. I would rather that than switch to modified OEM Tacoma fittings. The LCE braided lines are just too sweet plus I ordered them 3" longer in anticipation of the ADS lift.

nice, yeah I have the ss braided lines for everywhere else. that would be great if you can confirm back here and let me know how much clearance you end up having. my camburg coilovers are 2.5" body with a 3" spring i think.., i eyeballed it last night and at full steering lock it looks like it would be realllllly close if not hitting for sure, and tough to bend/push the hard lines without ending up pinching the flow. anyways, let me know how it goes!!
