Yeah it sucks man. Don't worry. Insurance will take care of it. Just be honest with them, don't make any story. If you're unsure of a fact just tell them that you're unsure. They will record you during the claim and will ask questions in a very matter of fact way.

 

Didn't say you were, just laughed really hard when he asked if you were trolling him haha. It's all good man, get a quote and see what your insurance is covering if not everything.

 

pretty simple, light turned green, gave it a little gas, let off to coast... two seconds later my truck is bucking and the rear end breaks loose and I try to save it, and end up in a ditch.

Use the highest quote and ask if they'll cut you a check to buy a steel bumper with the money. If they won't cut you a check (and want to pay a body shop directly) then use the body shop you feel most comfortable with. Just a heads up, almost all body shops are hustlers to an extent so play the game wisely
