    We've replaced two microwaves (over stove models with the exhaust fan built in) since we lived here (13.5 yrs). Last one was because Mitch burned popcorn in it ... it smelled like burned popcorn everytime you used it, or even ran the exhaust fan. True story. :laughing:

    I used to work at a furniture store and one of the sales ladies there was a little :crazy: One day she decided she wanted popcorn on her break so she started cooking it in the break room microwave. At the same time she got a phone call and walked out. Myself and the other office girl had no idea what was going on, then we started to smell this horrible smell and started coughing. Next thing I know one of the warehouse guys comes running out of the break room holding the microwave at arm's length and screaming "GET THE DOOR, GET THE DOOR". I jumped up and flung the door open then grabbed the fire extinguisher and followed him outside. There was BLACK smoke billowing out of the seams of the door as we cracked it open and sprayed it down. We were standing there just laughing as the owner pops his head out of the door and asks what in the hell is going on. We both said at the same time "so and so wanted popcorn". He turned around and stormed back into the store screaming her name... :laugh: Turns out she had just pressed some random time button on the microwave so it had been cooking the popcorn for like 7 minutes or something.... After that there was a ban on popcorn in the building.

    Meteor Crater today. It was a big hole in the ground, but no Chinese! Back to Phoenix tomorrow to see Chris and Julie, then home.

    Next trip,Yellowstone. I'm sure Lisa will let us stay with her.
