Anyone know the clearance difference of the drop bracket crossmember and an Oem one on the same tire size? The reason I'm asking is because a lot of people complain about less ground clearance...which is true, but I think my tire size makes up for it...?

    Yes
You will have a higher break over or crown clearance with a big drop bracket lift but a non drop bracket will have more clearance under the front cross member

Maybe just a week of work left...

Got the links and bed cage back from powder coat yesterday, front end self aligned, CO's installed, front diff re filled and new hoses installed so the only thing left for the front end is to modify my resi's mounts to fit around the double shear gussets...bumps were delayed so those will go on next week-ish and straps at the same time.

Did you go with TC spindle gussets? Also, did you sell your Kings?

Yes, the TC sway bar version gusset since it has the extra gusset out to the tie rod end. No, I did not sell the King's I got really lucky because it turned out that the custom built ones I had for the DB were in fact an 8" body with 10" rods and raised coil seats. The only thing I had to do to turn them into a regular 8" travel CO was remove the 10" rod and install 8" rods...well..not me actually - DSM did it. The only part left to modify is the King resi mount, it hits the double shear gusset so I just have to cut them apart, shorten them and weld them back together and rattle can them.

We did Solo motor mount and double shear gussets, cam tabs & patched DB cross member cut. Have plans to do a tower cross brace pretty soon.

Double shear? Looks like a UCA bolt gusset or coil bucket gusset as TC calls it.
