But it is a clean sheet design.

I think it will depend largely on how much investment Nissan would need to make to build the truck here. If it's significant, given the falling Frontier sales and competition from GM with Ford possibly coming back if GM succeeds they might just let the Frontier die off. Maybe die off with a Diesel in it though.

No drum brakes either ... Nissan Eng must be out of their mind... -100
    sarcasm
Seat belt bracket Mike would have drums on front and rear, but corporate Toyota refused to listen to him that drums are superior technology...

Even my '10 Pro4x has rear discs... The drums on my Tacoma were always fine except a few times off road, I set the ebrake on and it wouldn't release because of the dust and sand build up in the drums.

Lies. That is exactly why drums are superior. Seatbelt Mike said so.

Are you still drumming on TRD Superchargers? I think the answer is the same, but sadder :).

What? That there is no point in the S/C? I think a few people would disagree. Same as this thread. It's all personal opinion confused with a bit of wants, needs, uses, facts, and humor. Which is why I'm still here. It's fun, like most of the 3rd gen forum.

Not many cars are now sold with drums, usually only the cheapest of the cheap like Yaris or Ford Focus.

    Head unit. That's it.
I'll say it again. Henry Ford can hear people running to his dealership.

    I'll add, why can't Toyota?

Atleast Focus's now offer disc brakes, Toyota doesn't. However, even a focus has power seats but a 45grand Tacoma doesn't lol.

Others have strayed, and returned. Nothing against you of ford. But I wouldn't expect to drive the ford 12 years , 330,000 miles , maintence free . Like I did my 02 Tacoma But that kind of things not important to everyone !

You never changed the oil in your Tacoma for 330K?

    upload_2015-8-20_14-53-35.jpg

No, most vehicles won't survive that sort of neglect.

I personally drive my vehicles for max 5-6yrs, in that time I'd like to enjoy actually driving it, unlike my Tacoma, don't care how many bumpy, noisy, uncomfortable miles the truck had in it! You actually think there are no F150's out there with those miles and one frame?? Toyota has peoples brainwashed, a plain truck with absolutely no technology other then a go pro mount and still expect people to fork out 45grand, its a joke!

Well, that is what they overcharge in Canada, sorry.

$37,700 for a TRD Sport, they put $5grand accessories on it for me, plus 15% NS taxes.
