    Just curious....is anyone running 887s with an aluminum off road bumper? For example pelfreybilt....oh and a dcsb

    U bolt flip kit, carrier bearing spacer, 3* shims, high clearance rear bumper, sliders, oh and air lockers!!

    Yep order looks good!!

    Their aluminum bumper isn't enough weight to move an 887 if you are considering that it will drop much. If you're not looking for a ton of lift you might enjoy the 885s better.

    Doesn't his aluminum bumper weigh only like 80 lbs? I'd just get the 887 if you want closer to 3" of lift and 885 if you want closer to 2".

    Same spring rates on both. Definitely no need for an 886.

    Well I was originally thinking the 886s with the steel bumper, but all this talk about how stiff they are is starting to make me rethink it...I also want to get as close to 3 inches as possible

    yeah I wasn't sure what his goals were, just know the aluminum plate ain't gonna be a big issue.

    Yup if you're looking for the full 3" then 887s are the ticket. I agree with James.

    No...but figured it couldn't be more than 80-100 lbs....unless they weigh a lot more than I am thinking. Shoot and I may be way off thinking that they weigh that much. Pretty new to the whole winch thing.

    Yea I thought about that. I will probably end up going with the 887, just didn't want to get the bumper and then lose lift and wish that I had gone with the 886. How much work is involved in putting in a spacer later?

    Haven't done it, but I imagine the same amount of work as changing the coils.
