I just bought a 2006 4x4 DC from Camelback Toyota a few weeks ago. The truck has the Karr Alarm system installed but it is deactivated.

Anybody know anything about these systems? I found the control unit for this thing mounted down by the driver's side kick panel. It has an antenna on it which would suggest that it either reports to a satellite in case of vehicle theft or possibly a remote key FOB?

I remember the dealer offering some crazy priced security system when I bought the truck, but I don't want to give them any more of my money. This is probably the system they would have activated.

I hate to take advice from a Packer fan, but I'll make an exception this one time.

Oh, and thanks for Brett Favre. He's working out fabulously!

I'll overlook the seemingly snotty tone of your post to say that Brett seems to fit in with the Viks pretty well.

All Minnesotans are sarcastic. We don't mean to be rude or snotty. Glad you took the joke in the spirit it was intended!
